Brunch at Jones farm in Cornwall, New York
It's been our tradition for a couple of years now, to have a brunch at the beautiful and historic Jones Farm, right around the corner from us in Cornwall, New York.
John and his wife Alice started the farm as a dairy operation back in 1914 and you'll still find evidence of the old hay loft in the barn as it stands today. With the help of their children Raymond, Chauncey and Almira, the dairy business expanded, providing the Cornwall community with daily milk delivery for many years. Today the farm is still known for homegrown apples, as well as a plentiful pumpkin patch, sweet corn crop and several acres of Summer vegetables.
Dino and I love their brunches on weekends or delicious lunch options on any other days. The food at Grandma's Cafe is always fresh and crispy it makes it even more delicious seeing some of the vegetables that you eat growing right down the hill in the fields.
Of course, we always have our Bug repellents at all times, especially when dining outdoors. Now that we've got our natural bug repellent with organic essential oils, we are not afraid to use it right next to our food. After all, rosemary essential oil is used for cooking too!
